MISS Lakota Nation Inviationational

-Purpose: To represent LNI and be an ambassador of LNI at various functions 

​

-Term: Duration of the 47th Annual LNI.  December 19th 2024 through the whole year

until the 48th Annual LNI December 2025

​

-From Where:  Must be a student from a member school of LNI.

​

-Grade Level:  No more than the 11th grade (to be able to attend functions

throughout the 47th term including the fall semester of 2025).

​

-GPA: Minimum 3.00, must have confidence and be able comfortably speak in public.

Will receive academic scholarships beginning 2026

​

-Miss LNI will wear the Miss LNI sash to all functions

​

-Committee will identify functions to attend

 

-Miss LNI will complete application process including the interview

​

-“Have you ever been involved in a community project?”

​

- Also a Short essay (pick two):

“What does LNI mean to me?”

      “What are major challenges for a teenager?”

`                                 “Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?”

“Is Lakota language important?”
