The Lakota Nation Invitational (LNI) typically attracts over 3,000 students from South Dakota to compete in sports, arts, and academics. The LNI is a week-long event that includes activities such as a basketball tournament, wrestling, and skateboarding. The LNI is an annual event that takes place in Rapid City, South Dakota. The event focuses on Native youth and also includes other activities such as a powwow, Lakota language bowl, art show, knowledge bowl, chess, E-sports, and archery.
